25 pieces of resin cast sandbags
Review
Value Gear continues to add new useful and generic items to their catalogue, and this latest release of sandbag filler is a handy set to have when needed. As it has come to be known with Value Gear products, the resin casting is very well done, in my example I found no bubbles in the resin and only some minor flash around the bottom of the parts.
The sandbags are cast individually or into a small set of two to four sandbags. Each set is unique in shape and with some differences in the sandbags used. The individual and groups of sandbags are cast for a flat surface, but a little creative carving and sanding should be able to get the piece to sit almost anywhere.
This sandbag filler set from Value Gear is a great accessory for armored vehicles or dioramas. The set could be used in conjunction with the sandbag armor sets from Value Gear to augment some extra armor, or just place on armored vehicle for some extra protection. Using my current build and a couple previous builds, I was easily able to place the sandbags right from the bag for some convincing extra protection a crew might have added with just a couple available sandbags.
Conclusion
Overall this is another great accessory from Value Gear, it is very well cast and a versatile set. Whether used on an AFV or just a diorama, this filler sandbag set will be a useful set to have on hand. I highly recommend this set.
