For several years, Value Gear has been staking out a niche as the best-value stowage maker in 1/35th scale (in actuality, the company also produces stowage in quarter scale and braille scale). Value Gear's Steve Munsell started out with generic stowage that would work from Roman Legion times to present day, and has gradually expanded to include more-targeted sets like this one for the Tasca/Asuka Sherman M4A1.
the set
Inside the usual Value Gear Ziploc baggie with label card stapled over it are eight pieces of medium to dark gray resin.
the review
Some of the most-popular Sherman kits to date have been released by Tasca (now Asuka). It's only fitting, then, that Value Gear should have a set for the M4A1 (Value Gear's other Sherman sets should fit nicely on the earlier Tasca/Asuka Shermans).
The eight resin pieces are designed to fit on the rear engine deck, and on a "board" balanced across the front of the tank. The resin includes a nice array of gas cans, crates, folded tarps and even a loose Musette bag to hang anywhere. There's a "sea bag" and plenty of miscellaneous "stuff."
conclusion
Not only is the Tasca/Asuka M4A1 one of the better Sherman kits on the market, but now it has its own set of Value Gear stowage to make a superb kit even better.

Steve at Value Gear is a real gentleman and most productive. His items are suberb and fit well on most Shermans and other AFVs. With just a bit of sanding or Dramel action, the tank stowage greratly enhances any tank model. I have used several and have not been disapointed with the quality. The stowage items look great and are easy to paint and finish well. For the price, the best tank stowage out there IMHO.
