disc contents
As with the recently reviewed Stug III Ausf. G Photo CD, the photographs Chris uses to produce these discs are immaculate. They are large images, at 600 to 700 Kb per image, and they are presented in a web browser format, meaning you have navigation and tables of content to help you find the exact image you are lookung for very quickly.
The CD will autostart in on a PV running windows, and a small slip insert gives instructions for starting if you are using a MAC system. It uses a web-browser based system, which is extremely user-friendly and makes it very simple indeed to find the photograph you're looking for, or even just to browse the 237 high quality photographs on the disc.
The photographs include general shots of each gun, but also an awful lot of extreme close ups, and that's where the value of these photographs lie. For anybody wishing to correct Dragons' recent PAK 40, or up-detail the guns supplied with Dragon and AFV 251 kits, they provide seriously great references!
Conclusion
Another excellent addition to 'The Toadmans' range of Photo CD's, at a give away price. Invaluable to anybody thinking of building a German small calibre Anti-Tank Gun.
