introduction
BRAVO-6 added a new pair to dynamic posed Army Infantry series-Rumble in Jungle.
B6-35057 U.S. Army Inf.(8) Get on Line includes two infantry soldiers trying to keep or support the line against enemy forces.
box
The kit comes well packed in standard light brown cardboard box . The front part of the box shows a photo of the assembled and painted figures which can serve as a painting guide. On the other side of the box; e-mail and web address of the company are noted.
The main parts-bodies and other parts of the figures like arms, weapons and accessories are seperately inserted in small plastic zip-lock bags to avoid unexpected damages during transfer.
parts
Both of the figures are sculpted by
Vladimir Demchenko and come in medium grey resin parts. Parts are represented with the casting blocks. The junctions between figure parts and casting blocks are well placed and the parts can be easily removed from the blocks with no damage. Note that you should be careful especially on the muzzles. The resin quality is good and details are crisp. No air bubbles, casting mistakes or visible seamlines on the figures. The figures will be ready to paint with a very little cleanwork.
FIGURE-A
Posed to fire his rifle on kneeling position and shouting backwards, figure comes in 7 parts.
Body with head : Head is turned right back as he shouts - Get on Line - as expressed on the boxart. Facial details, expression on the face, open mouth and hair which makes the figure can be used with or without helmet are well defined.
He wears tropical jungle jacket with two chest and two lower bellows pockets - all with flap covers, jungle trousers with two rear and two bellows cargo pockets on both sides and canvas-leather combined Vibram jungle boots. Trotters are inserted into the boots. Wrinkles and folds, pocket details and open collar are well defined. He carries M1956 LCE ( Load Carrying Equipment) which consists of Pistol belt and H-harness with M-16 ammo pouches on both sides.
Arms are posed to fire/aim the rifle. Both are sculpted with upfolded sleeves and show nice cloth folds. Small pins on shoulders are helpful to get the correct pose of the arms A wristwatch is sculpted on the left arm. To make a few dry-fit exercises to pose the arms correctly in firing pose will be good before assemblying the arms.
Rifle : He carries a XM-177E2 with a collapsible stock, extended flash hider and twenty round magazine. Right hand is cast on the pistol grip with finger on trigger and left hand is cast on the handguard, suitable for a firing pose. All details of the rifle are well defined.

M7 bayonet in M8A1 scabbard : It will be assembled to the right side of the figure.
M1 Helmet with Mitchell pattern camo canvas cover and helmet strap.
FIGURE-B
Posed moving and leaning forward like a taking cover position, figure comes in 8 parts.
Body with head : Sculpted with nice facial details and hair, he wears tropical jungle uniform, M1956 load carrying equipment, vibram boots and carries two M16 ammo pouches on both sides as the first figure.
Left arm : Posed to carry a M72 LAW. Though LAW was designed as a discardable one-man rocket launcher primarily for use as an anti-tank weapon,in Vietnam however, it was used almost exclusively as a bunker buster or for attacking entrenched enemies. In action, the end covers were opened by removing safety pins and the inner tube was telescoped outwards. The LAW fired a 1-kg rocket to a maximum effective range of 300m. Once fired the tube was discarded.
Right arm : Posed to carry the M16 rifle.
He carries a M16A1 rifle with right hand on the pistol grip and finger on trigger.
