Easy Line, which is a product under Plus Model, has provided us with this set of 12 square cans. There are 3 different styles of various size and types, 4 of each, and they are cast in light sand resin.

The casting is fine, though some of the handles are partly missing. Whether this is due to poor casting or rough handling during packing, I don’t know, but this issue can be fixed using either a small strip of thin plastic card or metal foil.

These cans are very useful as accessories on AFV’s, trucks or in dioramas, and even though they are only depicted in plain aluminium color on the box art work, they can be painted in an array of different shades and colors. This is a great way to create a focal point on a finished model

Easy Line does not provide any decals in this set, but any kind of labels or product/manufactures’ signs from the spare box, will definitely add to the realism of these cans.

I can recommend this kit for actually every modeler, who wants to add a little more detail or personal touch to their finished model.
SUMMARY
Highs: Useful subject matter.
Lows: Some of the handles were broken off and no decals are included.
Verdict: A very useful subject, which can be used for both WWII and more modern settings. I recommend this kit for all AFV modelers and diorama builders.

Resicast have sets of these "oblong" cans, plus they have the suppliers names cast on the surface, so no need for transfers. I have an association with Resicast, but they were not done by me, just know they have them as accessories. George.
