If you have not heard of Dioramas Plus or Randy Pepprock the founder and owner, then you are in for a pleasant surprise. Check out his website and you will see why. Dioramas Plus was formed in the fall of 2008. The owner, Randy Pepprock, has been in the hobby industry for over 15 years manufacturing architectural miniatures for model railroads under the “Downtown Deco” banner. Before he worked as a scenic artist in the movie industry in Hollywood, CA. (his kits show his attention to detail). Randy designs, casts and ships each and every order.
Contents
The kit arrives in a large box, (packed to withstand a nuclear blast) not really but pretty close. It is chock full of cool items for your diorama building pleasure. The building parts are packaged on heavy cardboard, then wrapped in bubble wrap, then secured with shrink wrap and stuffed with packing paper, to keep it from bouncing around in shipping. They have lots of 1/35th scale buildings and other diorama items that will give you endless diorama ideas.
The Kit
Contains a six page instruction/booklet to help build and paint this building. Randy tells you everything that you need to know to build this kit. There are four (4) large sections of Hydrocal Plaster - one 8” X 10” base, and three sections of parts that make up the building with minimal flash. (Detail is on the front side only, which isn’t a problem, but if you want to go crazy, he tells you how your and scribe in more detail if you feel the need)? There is also a large bag of Hydrocal Plaster rubble.Five banners with flags, four laser cut windows, Clear Acetate for window glass both undamaged and damaged. Randy also includes metal for rebar to be sticking out of damaged areas.
The building looks very accurate.
SUMMARY
Highs: Everything about this kit is a plus. The base, walls of the building, rubble, supplies to make it look the way you want. Everything you need is here. All you need to do is decide how you want to make it and what model(s) you want to add.Lows: The only drawback that I can come up with is you might have to remove some small flash in the window openings. You might have to do some minor sanding to line the pieces up. Test fitting (something all modelers do).Verdict: Randy has another fine building/diorama to make an accurate looking diorama during the Fall of Berlin 1945 (or you can make it a post war clean up diorama). Let your imagination run wild and have some fun.

If you should ever gets broken casting *(for any reason) we'll replace the part free of charge,. That being said, out of the thousands of kits I've sold over the last 10 years I can count on one hand the amount of replacement parts I've had to send out. We pack these things bulletproof. : )
Sorry Everyone... I've been out straight and busy. Thanks for the comments. It is a great looking kit that will make a great diorama. Keep and eye out for the next one (DP26 - Shorted out in Iraq). Coming soon. Please forgive my late reply, but I don't get on line much and I am quite computer illiterate. Really I am. Enjoy and Happy Modelling. Shawn
