introduction

After his Barberwaffe series depicting German Tankers at rest with nice poses to create realistic World War II behind the frontlines scenes , Vladi added another unusual posed tanker to BRAVO-6 product range.
B6-35121 German Tanker depicts a German tanker in his Panzer crew uniform posed to pee. I can imagine so many scenes to display this figure in a diorama, but this one could be an exceptional work.:)
packing & casting

Kit comes in standard light brown cardboard box labeled with a photo of the painted figure. Kit content is inserted into a transparent zip-lock bag.
Parts are cast in medium gray resin. Resin quality is good, details are crisp and clean. A short cleanwork will be needed for the vertical seamlines on both sides and to remove resin part supporting the back skirt of jacket.
review

Posed standing with his legs spread slightly wide open to pee; figure comes as a full figure which will need no assembly. Facial details for a just relaxed expression and piping, national emblem and cockade on the Side cap/Feldmütze are well defined. He wears a pocketless, half-open in front with four buttons M40 German Army undershirt with long sleeves. Over his shirt, he has Panzer Wrap Jacket and M40 Panzer Trousers. Cloth folds and wrinkles on the uniform, side pockets of trousers with scalloped single-button flaps, shoulder straps, collar tabs, buttons, breast eagle of jacket are all well defined. As for the footgear, he has Long leather boots.
Arms are posed to pee with left hand holding the fly of pants and right hand aiming his weapon for a clean shot.
As you may know, Vladimir Demchenko likes to make humor on PE assembly guides on BRAVO-6 boxes, this time he carried his humor inside the kit giving 3 pee guns in different calibers. :)
conclusion

A rare figure with his unusual pose in nice sculpt in crisp details and clean cast. Useful one to make different World War II German Tankers scenes.

What is the obsession with pissing?

Personally I find it rather revolting, much like that time I came across a couple of figures from some unknown-to-me company where one of the soldiers was squatting for a dump. Dignified I'm sure. Of course it happened all the time but I won't be depicting it. Ditto on buying one of these.

The temptation is to have the guy going on someone else's tank and the TC yelling at him. "Don't piss on MY tank!" Or the one with the tank fender deep in mud with the guy casually going off the back deck. "You think I am getting off into that to pee?" Or the guy going and the general just pulled up behind him, or a carload of giggling helferins...

A new theme since we have had al German ranks, in all seasons, in all sorts of uniform, pointing... But the only two models, answering natur's call, came from Verlinden, as I remember. To my opinion they do add a little 'naughty' or 'humerous' note to a dio. But maybe there is a difference in attitude to this theme in the various countries? Anyway, it is a beautifully sculpture with perfect mimics.

For me it is a great sculpture in a great pose, in the end a soldier thake a piss more times than he shoots ... so why not!

I think it's quite a useful figure. When you think about it a diorama is a snapshot of a moment in time. Most of a soldiers time is spent hanging around waiting for orders and lets face it we all go to the toilet several times a day. As mentioned this could be used in all sorts of situations. With the mass of Miniarts booze bottles you could have some of those scattered while he takes a pee. We've got Germans playing musical instruments so why not a bit of a p*ss up in the field with captured booze. Common enough event looking at photos. As Stephen said he could be peeing up someone elses tank or down an open hatch. change of head to a laughing one could add an element of humour as someone from it's crew notices or even just in the background in an admin scene. You could even have a dog cocking its leg up him without him noticing for a humourous element.I have to admit the inclusion of three dicks made me chuckle. Not a figure I'd imagine people will fall over themselves to buy but imaginative and I'll probably end up getting one for the background in a dio.

Somewhere in my collection of photos from the war is a photo taken on the plains of some country, no trees in sight and on a raised roadway. The photo is of a kublewagen, not the VW but more of a traditional looking auto and there are several German soldiers looking at the camera from around and inside the car. They are smiling big smiles. The photographer composed his photo so that the car takes up about 4/5ths of the frame but on the left side, down the road a bit is a soldier who obviously had to make pit stop and has just become aware that he is part of the photo. Quite humorous for the boys I am sure, to play a joke on Schultz like that.
