Designed and manufactured for the Russian army by Kamaz, the 63968 Typhoon is a special purpose 6x6 armored MRAP ( Mine Resistant Ambush Protection) vehicle.
This new generation 6x6 armored vehicles can be deployed in reconnaissance, surveillance, command, medivac, fire support, special attack, troop transport and armored escort missions.

The KAMAZ Typhoon-K 6x6 can accommodate two crew and up to 16 troops.
the vehicle is armed with a remotely controlled weapon system, which can be fitted with a variety of weapons, from the 7.62mm PKT to the 30mm AGS-30, RPG-launchers.

The MRAP is protected by an integrated ceramic armor,bullet-proof glass and has night vision and full NCB protection.

The Typhoon-K is powered by an 450 HP RM3-5367 I6 diesel engine with a top speed of 65 mph/105kph and a range of 745 miles/ 1200 km.

It`equipped with independent hydro-pneumatic suspension and 10,00-20 wheels and 16.00 R20 bulletproof tires with blast resistant inserts

Highs: First model of this vehicle nice exterior detail
Lows: full interior isn`t much without the engine low parts count
Verdict: It will most likely build up to be a good model, but i think that the size of the box and the text "full interior" are a bit misleading.

i dont like Takom's instructions they dont even tell you how to paint the in interior

this was my second takom kit and the second takom kit that had issues

Note that the rear tow-hook is conspicuous by it's absence, there is just a hole in the chassis! You may want to add the front hawser too.
