Fire extinguishers are one of those items we hear a lot about in terms of colour, shape and size, well FC Model Trend have a new product in their line up which offers World War 2 Common Wealth fire extinguishers in 1/35th scale.
Review
This offering from FC Model Trend is supplied in a re-sealable blister pack that should I feel do a good job of protecting the contents in the post and in our stashes while waiting to be used. The extinguishers are 3D printed offerings and look very good to my eye from an accuracy view point. I have a real one of these and these look to match very well what I have. The part that makes these so nice are the decals that match very accurately the signage seen on period items. For information nearly all of these that I have seen are in their natural brass state with only a couple painted green (this may have been done in theatre or after the war by the crews rather than as a standard). Usage of these items only requires a single cut and painting prior to applying the decal.
Conclusion
These are very nice items that will add that small detail that many modellers look for. These being 3D printed does make them a little more expensive than I would normally pay coming in at €7.26 for two, but I do feel these are worth the cost with the decals being the icing on the cake; plus of course the price is nothing compared to some of the items we purchase.
SUMMARY
Highs: The decals are what make this product for me.Lows: Nothing obvious.Verdict: A nice detail seen on all Common Wealth vehicles in World War 2.

Eric - I am looking for WWII era brass Pyrene Fire Extinguishers - every US vehicle had at lease one and I was hoping Shapeways could print them in brass/gold to solve two problems at the same time.
