Introduction
Armor35 has released the hounds with two sets: Mongrel Dogs. Four 1/35 resin dogs, each with a unique pose, are available in two sets: Set I and Set II, item numbers ARM35-001(3D) and ARM35-002(3D), respectively.

These are not Armor35's first set of dogs. You can view the review of Guard Dogs via Click here for additional images for this review, below.

Armor35 also has three sets of cats available: Armor35 Cats.

Unpacking the Pack
This review examines both sets. The four canines feature excellent casting with no flash, air pocks, mold seams, or sink holes. Each dog is attached to its pour block and supported with excess resin rods.

Just in case your browser does not show the photos, the four poses are:
    Sitting, alert
    Reclining, scratching behind an ear
    Leg lifted, urinating
    Lying, curled up, alert

Detail
Sculptor Kostryuchin Andrew sculpted a lot of detail for Armor35. The dogs have floppy ears and hanging tongues, well rendered hound snouts, eyes, and paws. Hair of the dog is basic, suggested with ridges.

These dogs require no assembly. No painting guidance is provided aside from the box art.

Conclusion
Armor35 has created two good looking and useful sets of "man's best friend" with Mongrel Dogs. Sculpting and casting are very good, as are details.

Hair texture is basic. I plan to texture these pups with a wire brush before painting.

These are good looking resin mutts. Recommended!

Please tell vendors and retailers that you saw these dogs here - on Armorama.
