Review
Figure comes in standard light brown cardbard box labeled with a photo of the figure painted by
Vladimir Demchenko, also the sculptor.Inside the box, figure is inserted in a transparent ziplock bag, small parts like arms, head and accessories are lumped together in another bag.
Parts are cast in grey resin and represented with the casting blocks. Resin quality is good, details are clean and sharp. No casting mistakes or air bubbles, just a few seamlines to clean with a quick sanding.
Sculpted on a standing pose; figure wears one piece HBT coveralls which was was initially only issued to mechanics and to tankers and was popular due to its comfort and its resistence to dirt. It was designed with a bi-swing back, a belt, two breast pockets, two patch hip pockets and a back pocket. Over the coveralls, he has windbreaker design, zipper front 2nd Pattern Tanker Jacket. It was a waist cut, medium weight jacket and different than the 1st pattern with two external patch pockets, this one had two hand warmer style slash pockets. Cloth folds on one-piece suit with loaded pockets and jacket details like wool knit collar, waistband, cuffs and zipper are very well defined. As for footgear, he has M43 Combat boots with two-buckle ankle gaiters.
Facial features and open mouth for eating pose are well defined. He wears a OD knit wool Jeep cap. Over his cap, he carries goggles looking like German motocyclist type.
