Review
Figure comes in company’s standard hard cardboard box labeled with a photo of the assembled figure painted by Ryan Thuan. Body parts and rifle are seperately inserted into transparent zip-lock bags and rifle is secured with a small black cardboard.
It comes in 8 resin parts. Sculpting by Giang Xuan Le is nice, casting is good with no mistakes but needs a minor cleanwork for seamlines and flash resin.
Body part comes with upper arms and some field gear is cast on it. He wears standard NVA uniform over his white undershirt. Uniform color may vary from light khaki to green or dark OD green. It consists of a long sleeved Shirt having two pleated breast pockets with pointed flap covers and Trousers with two side and two rear slit pockets. As for the footwear; he has Bata style shoes copied from the French Army Patauga boots, widely worn during first Indochina War. He carries a belt mounted Canteen and a Bullet bag with strap crossed on right shoulder. Uniform details, upfloded sleeves and cloth folds are well defined.
Two alternative heads are given. Both look like Asian. One is cut on top for the helmet fit, other is bare head with long hair.
Right arm is posed to put on the hull and has a wrist watch.
Left forearm is posed to hold the machine gun and has a cloth wrapped around his wrist.
Two alternative helmets are given. Helmet with camo net which looks like a British Brodie and NVA camo helmet.
He carries a RPD light machine gun. Rifle details are well defined and a drum magazine is given as seperately.
Conclusion
This is a nicely posed and easy to assembly figure that can be used for any 1/35 scale NVA armor of Vietnam War like T54/55,PT76,etc.
