Insurgent with AK-47 OIF

by: Pete Becerra [ EPI ]

Here we have a single Insurgent holding an AK-47. Nothing much to brag about this figure. He is dressed in slacks, a shirt, and sandles. He is wearing some type of cloth around his mouth to conceal his identity.

As with Warriors other offerings, this one is no different. It is cast in their standard cream color resin and packaged in the new small clamshell box. Five parts are included in the kit; head, right and left arm, hands with rifle molded on, and one piece upper and lower body. My rifles front muzzle was snaped in half on the pour blocks, but before I cut them off, I just super glued it back together. Warriors should come up with a better way of packaging their more delicate parts.

I had no problem with construction. There were little to no seams at all and the fit was dead on. I was lucky to find no air bubbles on my sample. There is really nothing much to the construction of this figure.

Unlike Warriors other Insurgent sets, I think this figure would be hard to incorporate in a diorama. In my opinion, the best use would be as a stand alone figure. It is still a nice figure however. Way to go Warriors for producing more up to date modern figures.

Thank you to VLS for providing the review sample.
SUMMARY
The good guys need to have bad guys to fight and Warriors didn't leave that out. Along with the Marine sets that they have released, Warriors has come out with a line of Insurgents, this being one of their one figure sets.
