Introduction
One of the latest figures of BRAVO*6 -
B6-35137 Chernozëm depicts a World War II Soviet Tanker in typical clothing posed to clean the black soil of South Russia under his boots with an SS dagger.
Review
Figure comes in company’s light brown cardboard box labeled with a photo of the painted figure. Inside the box, parts are served with casting blocks and inserted into transparent zip-lock bags. Sculpting and casting quality are nice in clean and crisp details. No casting mistakes and no need to clean on the sample, another prime and paint figure.
Tanker is sculpted in 1/35 scale by Vladimir Demchenko and cast in grey resin. He comes in 7 parts.
Body ; He wears traditional Russian Army cotton-wool padded / quilted winter jacket - Telogreika and baggy look trousers - Sharovari with reinforcement patches on the knees. Body proportions, pose balance, folds , wrinkles and details on uniform like collar, padded texture with vertical sewing lines, side pockets, pistol belt over the jacket are nicely sculpted. As for the footgear; he has knee high black leather or kirza / artificial leather Jackboot.
Head ; Facial features and tanker helmet details are well defined. He has a WW II canvas Soviet Tanker helmet with horizontal pad to the forehead , three padded ridges to the crown running front to back, pocket pouches to the ears for fitting the integral earphones and rear neck flap folded upwards.
Left arm is posed to lean on the tank or somewhere else.
Right arm holds a dagger.
Left boot
Dagger ; He uses a M33 SS dagger to clean mud under his jackboot.
Holster ; He carries a M1895 Nagant Holster on the right side.
Conclusion
Another interesting posed, nicely sculpted and cast figure from BRAVO*6 to display World War II tanks or other vehicles.
