Sturer Emil Ammunition

by: Vinnie Branigan [ TEACHER ]

introduction
Aber have produced a number of updates sets for the Trumpeter 'Sturer Emil', so it was only a matter of time before they got around to producing this, a machined brass and aluminum set of ammunition for it's K40 L/61 gun.

quick look
This set just looks the business even before you open the packet! What you get are six separate charges, six what I think are high explosive shells, and six armour piercing rounds. There is also an extensive decal sheet for marking all of these appropriately, as well as a small photo etched fret containing end caps for the charges, as well as removable hinged end caps for the business end.

The shells themselves, although designed to be displayed in the rack on the Emil, fit beautifully into the charges and can therefore be displayed as ready rounds, and Aber give full instructions on the painting in the appropriate colours, as well as placement of the supplied decals.

conclusion
If you're going to be building the Trumpeter Sturer Emil anytime soon, then do yourself a favour and get this set! It will look magnificent in place on the vehicle! Highly recommended.

SUMMARY
Aber have produced a magnificent ammunition set for the Trumpeter Sturer Emil. You can have these in the racks as separate shells and charges, or as ready rounds.......either way they'll look the business!

Vinnie, Great review of a great new product. Just 1 question, what are machined bras and where is the wearer? Is Aber producing a female crew for this powerful weapon? Regards, Larry
