Once again, Archer Fine Transfers delivers a fine set of unique dry transfers to the modeler seeking a change of pace. The set depicts "Betty’s Bump", an early M4 Sherman of Baker Company, 68th Tank Battalion (AR 35253). The 68th Battalion was a part of the 6th Armored Division (Super Six) during the breakout from Normandy and subsequent drive across Europe into Germany.

The set is packaged in a cellophane bag with heavy stock header paper. Inside, you find a folded profile of the Betty’s Bump along with the dry transfer sheet and backing paper. The set includes the front and rear bumper markings, turret national insignia, shipping data, vehicle nickname and a large numeric 55. I have yet to appreciate the significance of the 55 marking other than to state that the vehicle photo also contains them. Archer recommends that you apply the transfers to either the Tamiya early Sherman (35190) or the Dragon Sherman II using Formation’s three piece transmission cover (F079).
