Not only is Tamiya known for it's great plastic models and good paints, they also make decent tools to be used on any plastic kits. If ever you're trying to buy a decent tool with a limited budget, get this tool set.

This one has a very good use on small parts especially when working with Bare Metal Foil. Made out of AA stainless steel, you won't get rust for a long period of time. The angled head helps in applying small parts and decals on certain kits. Side Cutters
Tamiya's side cutter works a good as regular cutters. The cut leaves no excess plastic giving a clean cut on the sprue though it can only open at 45 degrees. Not suitable for very large cuts. The Craft Knife
Tamiya's Craft Knife works as good as regular cutter. The knife is sharp and it has 13 smaller blades that can be snap off when it gets dull. After all the blades are gone, you may need to replace it if ever there's a blade fit for this tool. It doesn't have a safety lock like the ones in normal cutters so caution is advised when using this tool. Good if you don't have an X-Acto Knife in your arsenal. File and Screwdrivers
The file is very course to be used as a final sanding prior to models. I practically have no use for this except for major sanding. As with both the screwdrivers, this has practically no use for plastic modelers but R/C ones will benefit more from it. It can also be used on other non-hobby related activities.
