Having just completed the new T-34/76 Mod.1940 by Dragon, I can say it was an easy accurate build. All of the parts fit well, with very minor sanding, and no areas, other than on the turret lower edge needing any apreciable filling.
The kit consists of the usual Dragon grey plastic. It has a rudimentary turret interior,2 seats, and a breech. There is an option for a periscope or cover plate on the turret hatch.
The only minor annoyance, was the joint under the fenders, between the upper hull and lower section.A bit of putty, and the minor gap can be filled .
I liked the inclusion of clear parts for the headlight lenses, though I opted for MV Lenses. For the first time in a while, this kit comes supplied WITH string to be used for the tow cables. Also, the tow cable ends have preformed notches to accept the ends of the cable, similar to the method Tamiya uses.
Tools were kept to a minimum, only a shovel, and 2 end to end jacks on the fenders. On the rear fenders were chock blocks.
A major point of concern will be the track links. Each has ejector pin marks on the track facing side, but we are all grown ups here,so do the zen thing and use a bit of filler, and sand. Each track uses 2 different blocks to make up the runs. There is a block with the centerguide, and a "plain" block.
After assembling the track runs with a modest amount of sag, there were still a few blocks left over.
My kit was sprayed with Model Master Soviet green. The tracks were painted first with Floquil Antique bronze, then given a light rust wash, and steel drybrushed on for highlights.
For weathering I used a very light overspray of Model Master raw Sienna, and some Floquil dust.I was going for the fresh out the factory door look.
I recommend this kit for a quick "snack" build. It is very easy to put together, and the fit was wonderful.
