Introduction
The LAV-25 is a lightly armoured amphibious vehicle based on the Swiss MOWAG Piranha. The various forms of the LAV-25 have been in service with the US Marine Corps since 1983, and this vehicle type has been continually updated since then. The LAV-25 was originally a joint venture for the US Marines and US ARMY, the ARMY decided to drop out of the program, but the Marines continued and took delivery of 758 vehicles between 1983 and 1987. In 1993 the Canadian Armed forces bought the LAV-25, with their version being called the Coyote of which they bought 203.
The LAV-25, with a crew of 3 (driver, gunner, and commander) and room to carry 6 troops into combat, is a fast, reliable, and highly mobile AFV. Armed with an M242 25mm Bushmaster chain gun in the turret, along with a 7.62 co-axial MG plus a pintle mount for a second 7.62 MG on the roof, the LAV-25 has a few years service left in it.

Review
The two brass aerial mounts appear to mimic the real mounts perfectly. They are 7.68mm in length, not including the lug for attaching them to the vehicle. The base of the mount is 2.38mm across, with the PE rings being 4.05mm across. The PE ring also depicts the 4 bolt heads for attaching the aerial mount to the real vehicle. The mounting portion of the aerial mount fits perfectly into the PE ring, which makes adding these parts to the vehicle simplicity itself.
Attaching the aerials to your model involves drilling a 2mm hole, 2mm deep into the aerial mount location. Then place the mount through the PE ring and glue into the hole you have drilled. It really
is that easy.
Conclusion
This product is a quick and easy improvement for your LAV-25 build, and at just over 1 Euro is inexpensive also. The product is labeled specifically for the LAV-25 series of vehicles, however I suspect these mounts could be used to replace injection moulded plastic offerings on a number of vehicles. I highly recommend this product to anyone who places detail highly when constructing their models.
