Pelican cases, designed by Pelican Products, are molded plastic containers that seal with an airtight and watertight gasket. Pelican cases include a barometric relief valve made of Gore-tex to prevent barotrauma to the case, during transportation, or when the air pressure in the environment may change.
Most Pelican cases comply with US Military, NATO, IEC, and ATA standards for waterproofing, stacking, impact, and durability. Standards that Pelican cases comply with include MIL-STD C4150-J for waterproofing, IEC IP67 rating indicating complete sealing against dust and sealing against water immersion to 1 metre, as well as ATA 300 rating indicating compliance with Air Transport Association standards for durability in shipping. Pelican cases feature a lifetime guarantee. (Source Wikipedia)

Review
Pro Art model has just release the most awaited kit for modern modelers: Pelican Cases. In this kit, PAM provide 18 cases in different sizes and can be summarize as below taking Pelican case catalog as reference for dimension:
• Two laptop cases
• Two big laptop cases
• Two top loader cases
• Two cube Cases
• Two weapons cases
• Two rectangular cases
• Two large rectangular cases
• Two large weapons cases
The details are really crisp and the cases present all the features from the real Pelican Cases, namely top grooves, pressure valves, handle grooves, wheels guards. In my review sample, no air bubbles are present and all top grooves are really well defined. As the real ones, the cases can be stack easily using top groove as jig. The details on the handles are really impressive. The detail of the valve is outstanding.
Conclusion
Easy to use, just painted it in 6 different colors: Olive drab, desert yellow, black, orange, yellow and grey. You can also add some decals like red crosses, initials etc and drop them in your vehicle and diorama. No nationals related may be used in most modern dioramas in land, sea and air.
SUMMARY
Highs: Outstanding casting details, endless use in diorama.Lows: None I can think of, maybe on the big cases, no possibility of opening them.Verdict: A must have for modern modelers, for land sea and air uses.
