I just received the TRAKZ resin Kubelwagen cover (kit TX0103) for replacement on the 1/35th scale offering and is applicable to either the DML or Tamiya offering.

It is a one-piece part which needs very little clean-up other than running some sand paper on the edges and a small amount of flash over the rear windows to be removed with an Xacto knife. There is also a small bit of excess resin that requires removing on the side of thecanvas.

Overall, this is a simple but very well done piece with nice texture, seam details and folds and includes the supporting brackets on the interior - a nice touch.

This accessory goes a long way to avoiding having to use the non-descript plastic offering or having to use messy glue-and-tissue-paper to replicate the texture of a canvas top.

A very nice addition to the growing accessory line being made available by this manufacturer.
