Introduction

Recently released from Resicast are a set Wooden Boxes for use on vehicles and in dioramas, set No 35.2362.

The Set

The set comes packed in the normal Resicast format for small items. The parts in a separate zip plastic bags and the set contained within a further zip bag. Included is a paper insert showing the product number, picture of the items and manufacturers details.

The set is cast in a light grey resin and the details look good.

The set consists of 20 wooden boxes, four of each kind; a total of 5 types. The boxes represent a range of box/small crate sizes and would work very well with the Damages Wooden Boxes set 35.2363. I don’t see any problem using these in any time frame from the late 1800s onwards

Conclusion

These should make a nice addition to any diorama you’re building and are a useful item. Stowage and diorama items are always useful and the bigger the range and variety the better as far as I am concerned. Coupled with set 35.2363 some interesting possibilities come to mind.

Greying slightly, but young at heart. I've been teaching adults off and on for most of my life. Left the services in 85 and first started modelling in about 87 for a few years. Then I had a long spell when I didn't build anything (too busy) and really just got started again during the summer of ...
