Fifteen pieces on six blocks, base, light pole, signal light hoods and ornamental top piece. Cast in a cream colored resin, the sample I recieved is very well cast with excellent detail, free of blemishes or air bubbles.
Clean up:
The light pole and ornamental top piece have a small casting block that will need to be cut or sawed off but should not pose any problems. The casting block on the base will require a little more care as it is almost the same diameter as the base. However taking your time and making a straight cut should ensure that piece will sit flat once the block is removed. The signal hoods are very delicate and the casting gate also runs the length of the hood, once again take you time and there should be no problems.
Assembly:
Once the parts had been removed from the blocks and cleaned up the fit was good with only small amounts of putty needed to fill a few gaps that were my fault as I can not seem to cut a straight line. All the parts were glued using a medium viscosity CA to allow enough time for proper alignment. Although there are no instructions provided assembly is straight forward with the box art being used for part placement as well as a painting guide.
Conclusion:
A very nice diorama accessory that will fit into almost any European street scene, or used by itself for a unique figure vignette. The only problems arised from the size of some of the casting blocks, however this was overshadowed by the crispness and quality of the castings.
