I got into modeling as a kid, around the age of 10 or 11, with your basic off the shelf Wal-Mart kits. Mainly cars back then, and not much thought was put into building them. I got away from the hobby when I discovered girls - all about priorities for a 14 year old! I just recently (read as fall of 2012) got back into models after being stationed in Okinawa, Japan after wandering in to a local hobby shop and being awestruck at the quantity and variety of kits available. My main focus at the moment is aircraft, but I've been known to dabble in some armor here and there.
