US Navy 79-87 / HP since -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Like quite a few people, started back in to modeling a few years ago after many years off from doing it in the 60's and 70's as a kid. My Kids are grown now and needed a good hobby. - Modeling is pretty much the one thing I can do where my mind does not run a million miles a minute on other things. It is very relaxing to me (Which my wife can not understand). I will build pretty much anything that interests me. A/C, Armor, Ships, cars and scifi. My end goal is to be good enough to do a REALLY good USS New Jersey which I already have and then finally the 1/96 USS Constitution with full crew and in water. As with many modelers, part of my enjoyment in the hobby is the investigation and research work that goes along with doing a specific topic. For me, this goes well beyond just finding out the details of the look of a specific subject but also the who, what, and whys of the subject. I really enjoy the history aspect.
