Now middle aged, have been building models since I was a kid, but went dark for a while on the model building side of life as I married, raised kids and served in the Navy.... now, with a little more time on my hands, I've gotten back into the modeling side of life and amazed at all the differences between now and then... the internet has radically changed modeling. I can't even find a decent model shop in Kansas City, but fortunately I can get anything I need online. Also - I used to have to hunt for reference photos in obscure books and news clippings, now, its a few seconds away with Google images! I guess as a salute to the past, I focus on Cold War US themes.
