I'm a retired US Army Special Forces ("Green Beret") officer and I've been a model builder since the mid-1950's. Think my first kit was an Aurora FW-190! Today, I'm retired and have more time to pursue modeling, particularly armor in 1/35. Like many, I enjoy building WWII German armor and wheeled vehicles 'cause there are just so many of them! Currently working on 2 Korean War era dios. I plan on starting a Vietnam dio showing US armor in the Ashau Valley in the late Summer of '69 (which is where I joined my unit).
