About Silverleaf
I modelled cars as a pre-teen, and then aircraft as a teenager. I dropped plastics for 25mm figures and placed in a couple of local contests. After joining the US Marine Corps I stopped modelling and painting for a long time. In 2000 I started 25mm wargaming and recently placed second (in multiple categories) in a local painting contest (see My Gallery). At the beginning of 2007 I started modelling plastic armor. My first attempt was an M151 TOW (see My Gallery). I am mostly interested in 1/72 scale USMC ODS and other modern vehicles; but, I want to build some IDF tanks from various eras.
