Started modeling at the age of ca.12 with aircraft kits mostly, made a few excursions into the odd ship, some cars and a few 18-wheeler truck and trailer combos. While studying law I returned to building aircraft and refined my skills. From around 1996 till 2010 I hadn't much time for that hobby, but finally started again spring 2011. I'm interested in all aircraft since the 1930s, especially fighters of WW 2 and Cold War. I'm a member of the Sally B Supporters Club in UK which is also known as B-17 Preservation Ltd and keeps a Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress in flying condition yet. Generally, I build what I like and what is good-looking or in which I have a special interest (e.g. interceptors, nightfighters WW 2). I don't use airbrush yet, so it's still using the good old "hairy stick". The scale is mostly 1/72 except multi-engined aircraft for which I switch to 1/144.
