About johncpo
My twenty four year Navy background is in leadership and professional development of personnel through education and experience. Additionally I have completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Information Technology and Marketing as the main courses. I have extensive knowledge of history from ancient to modern times and having served in two theaters in the Navy have a long-time association with many cultures and customs. I pursue photography as a profession as well as writing articles to describe locations of interest in the Southwestern States. My interest in scale models began in the late 1960's with the first Monogram Navy aircraft and eventually progressed to where I am now with historic diorama construction and highly detailed figures and vehicles. I started Hobbies in a Barn and Building Historic Dioramas on Facebook to promote an international interest in scale hobbies, both have a succesful following.
