I served in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm and grew up on a Marine Corps Air Station, so I love aircraft of all types and eras, and modern military vehicles. I'm also an amateur astronomer, so spacecraft get rolled into my broad interests as well. I've been an RC pilot for 20 years, so I've built and flown a number of aircraft but never anything scale. The challenge of scale modeling interest me because it incorporates skills I've never developed, such as airbrushing and weathering.
