Child of a military family, who followed cheerfully into the serivice of the United States as a Marine. I'm a life-long modeler, starting with the old Monogram kits in the 70's and picked up the hobby again after a 10 year hiatus about 3 years ago. Gainfully employed as Historian and Visitor Services Chief at the National Museum of the Marine Corps - I model armor - a confirmed Shermanholic, but with occasional forays to the "dark" side of the armor world...and, occasionally, a few stray aircraft now and again - mostly WWII and earlier USMC / USN aircraft when the mood hits me.
