Like many, I started out in the hobby as a kid building airplanes to hang from my bedroom ceiling. When I joined the army, I got classes in recognizing AFV's. Via a friend I found that building AFV-modelkits really helped a lot in learning to recognize them (since you'll actually be holding every single part in your hands yourself.) Since that time I have built a lot of AFV's from all era's, but mostly modern-day armour. In everyday life I am married to my wife and have a little daughter. I live in Harderwijk, the Netherlands.
