Thanks a lot!
Yestreday I finished basic colour. I tried modulation style, it works perfect on LAV. I'll try to make pictures of basic finish.
Next wil be scratches!
Then wash and filters.

My first modulation painting experience.
It's basik paint. I used Tamiya NATO green and Buff.
Washes, filters, scratces and pigments ahead.
What can you say about my modualtion?

Very nice base coat and initial shading.
Do you find it easier to attach the stowage during construction and paint it all at once?.....bed rolls, stretcher, ammo boxes, barrel.

I didn't attached all the storage. Others will be painted apart from the vehicle.
I fount it difficult to attach painted stretcher with storage on painted model.

Very nice Anton, looks really great. I wasn't sure about the graduated shading you did with the green base coat at first but it's all come together and looks really good. Glad to see another LAV III builder.

thank you for your comments! I'm very happy that you like it!
But I think that this pics are bad: I set lights too close to the model. I'll, make new pics today.
One question about storage: did canadians troops in Afganistan used cool boxes (some kind of refrigerators) like americans?

The civilian camping coolers are carried on the Leopards but I think less frequently on other AFVs. I would think on the LAV III they might be carried on the inside if the crew was able to latch on to one.
Very nice LAV III....it will look terrific once it is all weathered and kitted out.

The coolers were mostly stored inside, plugged into the AC power in the troop compartment. I have seen some LAVs with camping coolers stored in the rear turret bustle bin.

Thank you for your answers!
I think that blue and white cooler bin wil be a very nice colourfull spot on the green and dusty vehicle. What storage can I add, except bags and rolls?

Hey Talib,
As far as stowage goes with what Jason has mentioned you can add camp cots and 25mm ammo boxes. The black plastic American ones were common as well as the steel ones.
cheers

I love the model, don't forget the coaxial c6 7.62mm machine gun to the right of the 25mm. Afghanistan LAVs also have a C6 7.62mm machine gun or a 5.56mm C9 machine gun on a pintle near the crew commander's hatch.
