And by Angola too.
This vehicle from Philippines is a modification of Humvee, it's longer than an original. I'm not interested But Joe - if You have any pictures of such version used by Honduras, could You post them here?

I'm in the process of moving in with my fiance, but once we get settled I'll see about scanning in the picture. Julio Montes' book about Mexican and Central American Armor is where I saw the picture.

In fact the Philipine MMPV is based on a Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4 chassis engine and transmission, with a Humvee-wannabe body

Great job everyone.
Ironically,I was just asking my local hobby shop last week, where can I find some Humvee's at a reasonable price.
There used to be a number on the market, but now all I can find is the Academy gun truck and the Tamiya newest kit.
I want to kit bash them for varients so I won't pay $40 plus for the Tamiya(I don't care to show the engine).I have older ones from both Italeri and Tamiya that were in the $25 range.
Any advise?

Thanks for sharing Kuba, now I don't feel so bad. I must have 10+ in my stash waiting for me to take time from more pressing builds.I don't know what it is about the vehicle but it seems to sort of suck you into wanting to build every variation there is.

Roy.
The last time I saw this many Humvees, I was walking into the motor pool to get my M1025 ready for a mission. I was a Scout gunner on a Mk 19 Gun Truck , this brings back really good memories, keep up the great work. Just Love them all.

Unfortunatly they are about the only decent ones out. The Tamiya are a bit pricy for the base of a kit bash conversion, but the Academy one is Ok. It at least has the new style mirrors, and is reasonably priced. When searching on web sites for it it does not come up under "Humvee", you need to look for "i.e.d."

But don't You think that this green of backpacks is too green?
I think you're right Kuba...I'll de-do 'em. This is a strange hobby for someone who's red/green color-blind! Anyone else color blind? http://www.toledo-bend.com/colorblind/Ishihara.asp

My 15th Humvee. As I've mentioned above - US Marines' M1045 HMMWV TOW Carrier from 'Cold Winter' exercises (Norway 1987).

Really fantastic model Kuba! I love all the wiring for the TOW, and the whitewash looks really great as well. My only criticism would be that its not really dirty enough, perhaps you dont want to weather it very much, but a vehicle operating in damp snowy conditions would be soaked in wet mud and dirt on the bottom of body, i think some mud splatter would look good as well on the sides, where the wheels have kicked up dirt.

Rob - I was trying to follow this example:
And yes, I don't want to weather it much. My previous Humvee (portuguese from ISAF) was very dirty, so I wanted to make this one clean. I've found 12 photos of Humvee from "Cold Winter '87" and about thirty of other vehicles. At each photo there is a huge amount of snow (it had to be a very frosty winter) and no wet mud. Thank You very much for Your opinion.
