Hi! Very nice idea!
I'm in!
I start thinking about interesting vehicle for this campaign. May be Milo's unarmored Coyote?
I have nice pic of UN vehicle from Eritrea.

Sounds good to me. Gives me a chance to finally pull the M548 out of the stash and build it for a 4 CIBG format.

I love the idea! I'm just clearing off my plate of projects near completion (Aussie Abrams). I have a few Dieppe Builds schedule next (Churchill MK I and a Dingo... and if time a MK III) which I want to do build logs on here on Armorama. I have the Cromwell Models conversion enroute and will be starting the Churchill very very soon. Also waiting for Echelons Dieppe decal release... should be very soon I hope. I've never joined a campaign before so I don't know what is involved. Send me a PM and we can talk so I can get educated with what's involved and commitments, etc.
Is there a link that describes the campaigns?
I'm hesitant to join on the spot as I typically build a project in 6-10 month time frames so 3-4 months would be putting some pressure on me and I don't want to compromise on my finish quality.
Sorry for the banter.. I'm new to this campaign stuff....
Cheers lads!
Hey Carmen, I am sure you have heard that AFV is coming out with a specific Dippe Raid Churchill. I am glad that I didn't start mine Chruchill and scratch build all that wading gear equipment Looks like a nice kit...but it is AFV so it should be nice.
Cheers Mate

It appears that the idea has been denied, I sent it in a week ago, and it hasn't been added. The start date is coming closer, and I haven't even gotten an email that confirms or denies that it will start.
I have no idea what went wrong, but I'm still irritated right now

Hey Brad... yep I'm all over that, but I'll have mine built by the time they release that kit. Also there are alot of inaccuracies on that kit that I've pointed out. See comments in this thread:
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/146722&page=1
Hopefully they'll correct them before the kit is released. Also Echelon announced their Dieppe Churchill decal sets... If you're interested in a Dieppe Dingo you might want to hang on a bit long, but don't worry, not too long.
Zaltar - Don't worry I imagine things will work out, if not I'm still motviated to do more Canadian Armour and post my build on Armorama anyways.
Cheers!

And for anyone wanting to build a Dieppe Churchill, I just saw Echelon is coming out with a ton of decals for those machines.

I guess that I really shouldn't complain about the campaign managers, they have a lot of work to do. If it isn't up by the proposed start date, I'll try resubmitting it with a different start date, 2+ months in advance. I put the start date earlier than that and sent an email, but I don't think that they liked that, so let's just go with the flow and set it up 2 months from now.
What do you think of Boxing Day (Dec. 26) as the start date for the official date if this doesn't work out?

Hi Carmen,
Thanks for the heads up, and I totally 100% agree with you. I like to get my builds as accurate as possible, however I doubt very much that AFV Club lurk on these sites, perhaps a letter to them formally letting them know your huge interest and your thoughts on the photos of the mock up builds is in order.
Cheers

I'll be in if it goes. I've got a Hasegawa CF-104 in the stash that needs building. Winged things are ok right??? I've kinda been on an a/c kick for a while!

It's best to propose campaigns in the campaigns forum. It makes it easier for the campaign manager to keep track of proposals. Also it's possible for the campaign manager to turn the proposal thread into the official campaign thread once the campaign is approved.

I think I would like to have a go. I plan to build a M4A2E8 and M4A3E8 1/35, and perhaps finish my 1/16 M4A2E8 conversion.
