Today I introduce to You my Panzerhaupize M-109.
The vehicles of the Canadian army fascinate me are some zeit very much and thus I decided to build this M-109. A big problem with this project was to be unearthed it good pictures Canadian M-109. For some looks I found this side http://www.armouredacorn.com/Reference/VStudies/M109A3/M109A3.htm after the first one look this M-109 I put firmly I it to myself had too simply introduced.
Here she hopes the pictures and I like You.
Like one now in the pictures recognises Canadian M-109 differs from the U.S. not only by the painting.
And I am still on that looks for photos of the Canadian army. From the following vehicles like M-35, M-113, Leo, Lynx, and above all from the Bergeleo there I to me the model of Perfect Scale has already bought.
here you see the first pictures after the spraying, I have undercoated the vehicle call sign before black and covert.

Hey Juergen,
Great job on the 109. love the paint job. couple of little points though the "loaders hatch" on roof lies flat. Used to sit on it al the time. in the field we don't wear berrets we have a soft cap that we would wear, not the wide brimmed US army hat. course if i didn't have it i'd have to wear my helmet (steel US type). lastly Cdn Regiments only have 3 gun batteries so there would be no 45B , 35D was actually my C/S. lastly we had black Cdn Flags on the front and rear. Great display love the pics with backgrounds

Nice to see a Canadian M-109! I did not know the Italeri kits came with the correct Cdn pattern tracks.
Ian - BTW, 45B was a W-Bty FAS M-109 callsign, though we rarely took the 109's out of the gun park.

On Barry Beldams website, Armoured Acorn, there is a picture of 45B taken by Neil (Tiny) McLeish in Germany in 1982. I was there with 1RCHA on a fly-over for the Fall exercises in 1982 (seconded from 2RCHA). Yes, we wore our berets in the field as it was a whole lot easier to wear the comms headsets with them rather than with the field cap. The only thing I didn't see on your model was a CFR number.
45A - CFR 74-51520
45B - CFR 74-51521
45C - CFR 74-51522
45D - CFR 74-51523
Great to see a canuck 109A1 here. Keep up the good work.

Wow! The camouflage on the gun barrel looks brilliant! Well done model!
If you're really interested in the Canadian Military, I'm running a group build of all Canadian equipment. We have 45 people currently enlisted, so there should be some spectacular results. If you're building any Canadian models between now and July 1st, you should join, you're modelling skills would be a welcome addition to our campaign!
Here's the links if you're interested:

Juergen was this Italeri kit or Revell-Germany?

Juergen,
Looks fantastic mate!
Two questions,
1) Which figures did you use, are they stock from the kit?
2) What did you use for the cam netting?
Don

Yep, W Bty FAS = Field Artillery School in Gagetown. G & H troops were the Gun Troops in W Bty, back when I was there. I only saw M-109's go out twice, once for Ph IV and again for the grad parade, where the damn thing could not even power up the ramp to the pde square in front of J7. Held up the entire roll past, it was pretty embarrasing.

Looks very good!
Once Iīve built Revellīs M-109 and used german army markings and some days ago, I made some photos from the 10 year old model.
I like the scratch-built parts and the details!
Great work!
greetings...

The Diehl tracks only come in the Revell-Germany M109A3GA1 kit. The other option is from Accurate Armour.
