Hi Guys,

Gotta agree, a new 6pdr in all it's varients would be terrific and sell really well. I recently unearther an old Tamiya one and I'm thinking of trying to imporve on it but early, late and para versions are sorely needed.

Figures, well now there is an opportunity for someone, not may Artillery Crew types around.

Apart from the Crusader Gun Tractor what other beasts towed this one?

Regarding ammmo well Accurate Armour make 3 sets of ammo - steel boxes, wooden boxes and shells.

BTW I believe our own RJ contributed a great deal of photographic reference for this one.

For Towing vehicles the Morris C8 and the M5 Halftrack come to mind along with some de turreted M4A2 in Italy. Post war the M5 was deturreted and used as a tractor.
We Aussies used Studebaker trucks with ours post War.
Cheers

Unfortunately it would recquire a lot of retooling for DML to do one with the Wheels, seats and Running gear being about the only transferrable items as it an entirely different creature to the M3 and M2 in dimensions etc.

Hi Al,

Yes, so I believe. Looks like someone else will have to do a new kit then!
