Hi All
I am starting to research my next project which is going to be an M3 Halftrack Armoured Command Vehicle in use be the Regimental Headquarters of the South Alberta Regiment during September 1944. I have found 2 very nice pictures of the vehicle in the book South Albertas by Donald E. Graves. Based on these 2 picture I wil be able to build the model closed up. My preference, if I can find any pertinent info would be to put an interior in the rear competment. I am hoping that someone has info on this vehicle that they are willing to share.
Thanks in advance..
Mike

I've got a few from the SAR rebuild pictured here, but not sure how accurate the interior is, being a museum vehicle - I think it's close and better than nothing. Recceboy - (Anthony Sewards) will know more and probably has more photos too.

There's some 3-view drawing of it out there too. I think they are by Chris Johnston, but they may be Geo Bradford. I might have a set if you dont mind waiting.

Hi Graeme
I don't mind waiting at all, I will be very grateful if you can find the plans. I have searched my library and have not found any.
Thanks Mike

You are in luck, the M3s ACV sits 25 feet from my desk. I have finished a magazine story for the Pathfinder in the UK. I have lots of photos and first hand knowledge of its restoration.
