If i was still in The Marines i would have wanted to lat move to that MOS. The mineplow is coming out great. I seen that plow during the invasion and it always reminded me of a gaint spider on the fronf of the tank. Cant wait to see you line charge tubs and rockets. Well there goes the MK-154. Mothballs

Thanks friend, I'm still working on it. As it stands, I placed first at a local show.
So I must fully finish this project. I have three more things I need to add and then I will lightly wearther it.
In this photo you can see to of the items I need to ad the my M1. The mid sized box mouned to the middle storage box, on the rear of the ABV. and one heavy antenna.
Those items are missing from my build. I'm building those items now and once I get them built and added. I'll post the new photo just like this one below.
I have started the chipping.

Phenomenal work! And congratulations on your 1st place. Definitely deserved. Once it's weathered and looking nice and broken-in, it'll surely win Best of Show.

In short: I feel bad for any other contestants. Seriously.
But regardless of the fact that this build is insanely good from all standpoints, the MoM contest is surely not a perfect representation of talent or skill. I wouldn't place any weight on the results, no matter if you win or come in last. Lately, it seems that if it's a rare armor subject, foreign in nationality, covered in gypsy-wagon stowage, and half eaten by rust, it gets preferential treatment in the voting. Shame too, because there are many great modern pieces out there that aren't all rusty that in my opinion deserve far more credit than they get.
But that said, if you do post it up for voting, I'll vote for ya hands down.

Guy's I have bad news to tell you about the ABV. I bumped it off my display shelf. I'm hard at work fixing the parts. It's not that bad. The plough poped off and some of the support rods poped off as well. one of the markers snaped on but the wire or power cable was still attached. So that was the first thing I fixed. Seeing that I'mm still fixing things here's a quick fuzz photo.
An before you guys give me the blues about it., my famly has already do that. That's why I'm working at getting it back together.
Remember I at the time of my last post on here I had yet to do the line charges, rocks ect... So now that I'm forced to do work on this project right now. I'll be posting more progress on this baby really soon!
I'm also working on a display base as will as figures. (Wish me luck)

Off your MEDS again! Step away form the bench and go see your doctor and make sure you take all your medicines this time!
So! When do you start on the MILIC to go in launchers?
Very impresive work!

Well "A NY" I have the rocks built., I stoped working on the ABV to work on one of my othere on-going projects.
So when I post my new photos I'll be starting with them and then the line charge bags.
Thanks "BLACKWATER" and the rest of you guys looking in.
Now when I post the photo of the fully repaired project with the MICLIC finished. I'll put red dots over all the parts that I have to fix. Just so you all know what was fix.
Right now I'm working on an IDF M109 SPH. Once I get it's hull filled I'll be posting new photos of this project.

Caveman, I just saw this old thread cause of your recent post and I must say...you did heck of a work on this thing. Makes me want to build one but I don't have the courage or time to tackle such projects. However, I thoroughly enjoyed reading yours. I'll have to keep an eye out of your WIP from now on cause you have some mad skills and hopefully by watching you more and more some of the mad skills will rub on me as well.

Well thanks guys and I'm making molds right now and I hope to start saling them on E-Bay in the first part of next year., But first I'm going to post a full mock up of the parts on a DML M1 chassis. An I hope over time I can mod some of the parts to fit othere kits like: Academy,Italeri and Tamiya.
