I'm slowly working on this beast, I see now that Realmodel will be making a set of resin wheels for the updated Coyote and Bison, one less thing to scratch build. Photos soon.

An inspiring build for sure. Gets me in the mood to further my scratchbuilding skills.

The edges of your styrene look so clean. How are you deburring them after the 'cut & snap'?

Does anybody know where I can get a set of headlights for this project? I tried looking for Maple Leaf models for their headlight set but was unsuccessful, anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

The headlights from any Leopard 1 or Leopard 2 kit or the Trumpeter ASLAV or the Trumpeter Cougar kit will work just fine. You might find differences in detail but they all use the same headlights.

Ok guys a little snag, In this photo of an updated Bison the engine grill seems different then those found on earlier versions, the grill seems to be raised somewhat and it may have different dementions, is this correct? Also if it is would it be simular to those used on the ASLAV?

Small update. I've had to modify the engine deck plates this set me back a few days. The smaller of the two two deck plates is wrong it should be more square then rectangular no biggy to fix. I have minor finishing and details left to do.

Nice job on the engine deck, it is very similar if not the same as the Coyote deck. I believe this was an upgrade for the Bisons.

I'll check on my home computer after work. I most likely have what you need.

Really impressive job on the engine deck. I guess that when you are complete, Trumpeter will release one as usual

They've got enough reference photos for sure. Were they not doing an ASLAV-PC at one point in time?
