Congrats on finishing Val, a superb build and a great little Dio to set the scene.
The level of detail you have put into this build is both inspiring and intimidating!
Can i ask what you used to make the wires on the Enforcer?
And what you used for the dust effect? I presume it was pigment of some sort, it looks perfect for a desert environment.
I look forward to seeing your next build.
Cheers,
Tim

Thanks ever so much Tim!
The wires on the Enforcer RWS as you can see on the WIP shot was made from the stretch sprue. I used the Dragon's own sprue as I find this very good. I was able to stretch it as thin as possible up to the point where I can barely see it and flexible enough to be used as small wires.
The dust effect is a combination of two Migs Pigment. I used Concrete plus Gulf War Sand together. Ratio is around 3 parts Concrete and 1 part GWS to tone down both hue as using just one directly is to harsh for this scale and guided also by my reference photos.
Hope this helps Tim.

Val

Hey Val,
I've been following your build and must say this one came out really nicely!
I'm not unfamiliar with small scratch built additions but given it's braille scale I'm really amazed by the size and level of detail on that model...
also I really dig the paintjob, the sand colored armor tiles and the chipping make this one really stand out... or in other words outstanding...
keep up the good work...
Cheers, Max

I of course am working on the Cromwell 1/35th scale conversion 2009 TES version however, to watch you work your magic (understatement) on this 1/72nd scale item is nothing less than amazing.
It has helped me immensely. Your patience and attention to detail inspires us all to do better when it comes to our own work.
I think your final result is first class and thanks for sharing your build with us.
Keith.

Although I don't like modern tanks, you have made an excellent detailing and painting work.
Congrats. Pedro.

Your build and finished product is exactly why I don't touch the scale. I couldn't do it justice....... I am in awe of it.....

Thanks once again Keith. 72nd is such a difficult scale because of the small size and details are harder to do but I think there are loads of modellers nowadays that are very good at it and there build is as impressive as the 35th scale.

Hey Val,
just caught up with your Challenger, "wow' I build mainly 1/35th. though I do have two Chally 2,s and an Abrams in braille scale, so respect to you, this is an excellent job of an excellent tank and if I get any where near this standard with my 1/35ths I will be a happy man.

Thanks Steve! Glad you like it. Got a Bronze on this one during the last Euromilitaire 2011 class 14A held at Folkestone last September.

Super and exceptional build!!! The painting and weathering looks just perfect. Just wondering, how many hours does one of your builds like this take?

I'm a slow builder and always take my time. I started this last Feb. 2011 and finished about end of May though working hours is irregular but average time on the table is about 1 to 3 hours.

Thanks marc, sorry for the late reply. With regards to the tool i have used a 0.5 mm OD mirco brass tube. This was grinded carefully to create a half circle or a letter "C" shape. Hope this answers your querry.
