Looks good - I think once you get paint on it that barricuda netting will be fine.

As I said before Val, the barracuda netting looks convincing enough in 1/72. It's nice that you have some nice references for this build.
Hope to see more in-prog pics!

Working my way to some details and correcting the chassis armours.
Front Chobham.
Side armour.
Correct mounting, the kit's original mount sits to low.
Grab handles:
Looking a little bit like a Chally 08 TES now.

Val, you are doing a superb job on the Challenger. All that extra attention to detail should make this build into quite something. I have always shied away from this kit as the thought of the bar armour is intimidating. I'll be watching your progress with much interest. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Jan
P.S. - Why not join the rest of the small scale builders in the Braille Battlefield Campaign. I am certain that you would stir up quite a bit of interest there. Note: this is a shameless plug for the campaign.

Hi
A wonderful Build since now.
The model looks very nice. I like your scratch.
Are ther some aftermarket parts on the tank or is all you build scratch?
Where you get the micro wire 0,04 - 0,05?
I hope we can see a lot of pics soon.
Cheers
Daniel

Thanks Daniel! This is a total scratchbuild conversion. No after market as there is none in this scale as far as I know. I have the Cromwell 1/35th conversion though and using it as a rough guide. The micro tubes can be found in your local hobby shops. I'm using Albion Alloys.
Some updates... I have posted this also in the Braille campaign.
Finished the running gears... this is prior to closure of the side chobham.
Deatils added to the side armours....Handles, stepping bar, etc..
Cut the flimsy cables that came with the kit.
Re-worked the tow cables and mounting (front/back)
The rear bar armour mount. This had to be built from scratch, this is absent in the kit. You also have to lenghten the side skirt in order to mount his correclty.
Overall progress...The lower hull is almost done.
The Enforcer RWS with the feeding chute installed.
Size comparison...

AWESOME BUILD ! Just a quick question, since this is 1/72 scale, what are you using for netting ? It looks fantastic.
