Hi Soeren!

Who released the MSTA-S? I remember Panzershop has announced it some years back but never saw it since then. ANy info?

Thanks
Andreas

Hi, yes I meant the Panzershop-kit. But it was shifted from 2011 to 2012.
But it is still in their plans.
Sorry for my wrong/ mistyped words. The kit is not released yet.

Personally I'd love to see the Tunguska that Trumpeter announced many many years ago.

Yes... the Tunguska - also my favourite wish.

Or is there another up-armored version?

Hmm, in the actual Trumpeter-catalogue there is an UAE-version, which also has an add-on armor. (No# 01532)
Possibly he meant this one.

Yes, the UAE version has been released, too... and it's in-stock at Hobbyeasy.

This is not the version, which I mean. (also this is not an up-armored version)
We will see another UAE-version, with ERA-blocks on sides and front.

Hey, Soeren... here's the one you're talking about on pre-order at Greatmodels. But I have no idea when it will be released. Do you have any info on that?

Hi all,

from first hand experience, I can tell that dealing with Chinese compies is a little bit tricky. I provided Trumpeter with first class material on modern US tank and trucks, now three years ago. But when contacting HB or TR and asking questions about upcoming releases, like the M1083 FMTV, I get only some vague answers about the release date. It is obviously the both companies rather do some obscure WWII paper panzers (i.e. Jagdpanzer E-100) where don´t need such detailed material like for a T-90, Tunguska or MSTA-S. So, when anyone has a good walkaround on the above mentioned vehicles and even better some factory drawings, feel free to contact them with it.
I am just preparing materials on modern German vehicles for HB, and I really wonder how long it will take them to release the tank. Anyway, I wouldn`t hold my breath for it.

Just my 2 cents

Hmm, that´s a good idea!
Good walkaround´s can be found at dishmodels .
I should take a closer look at this site, also I will look in my collection.
But good drawing of these vehicles are rare.

greetings...
Soeren

edit:
Walkaround of the "2S6M Tunguska" can be found here:

T-90:

T-90A

Perhaps this helps a bit and reduces the waiting-time. ;-)

After researching my collection I found possible useful information... if Trumpeter will plan the Tunguska.

I hope so.

In the "Concord Publications No. 1039 - ZSU-23-4 Shilka & Soviet Air Defense Gun Vehicles" there are some photos and line-drawings of the 2nd (and most famous!) version of this vehicle. It´s the "M-variant". (2S6M)

Note aside:
Actually this vehicle undergoes some improvements in radar-equipment and the carrier.
This will be the 2S6M1 -version.

Perhaps this helps a bit!

greetings...
Soeren
