Thanks Adam!

Work is slow and been really busy lately. Small updates:

Front intake

View of the front console, I have a hard time aligning this because of the difficult and awkward angles.

Rear details. This is not complete yet, loads of details to be added.

More to come.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks Olivier!

I have managed to do a trial cast for the wheels. Though I don't have a de-gassing device the cast turned out ok. This is the initial wheels, I will re-do the molds for the production version to make it much better. Very difficult to work with the threads because of the tiny details and you need to be quick when working with polyurethane resin.

Val

That looks fantastic with the wheels in place. Really taking shape now. Unusual subject that is bound to get loads of interest when you do a production run.

Thanks Nige! There are still a lot of details to be added but the main parts and chassis are done. Hoping that the rest of the casting will be ok.

UPDATES:

Managed to complete the basic structure of the roll cage. This is temporarily fixed to adjust alignment, scaling and clearance. It still needs work and tweaking. Seat are sculpted using Milliput and needs to be sanded down for scale.

Casted wheels, I will make a total of 30 pairs which is good for 10 limited run kits if I'm successful in completing a full resin cast.

Thanks Sven.

UPDATES:
This is the final size of the roll cage. Note the corrected height adjustment I made. A few more details and I can cast the chassis.

Size comparison with a 35th figure...

You can put me down for one if the limited run kits make it!

Great work on a cool looking vehicle. Especially love those tires!

If it's becomes available I'd be happy to buy one (or two?).

Cheers,

This is a real gem Val- congrats on the fantastic work. Such a small vehicle but very cool and I reckon it would look awesome next to a modern Brit figure in a small vignette.

Can't believe I missed this blog. This is an excellent build, Val, the tyres especially look great.

On another note, if your'e looking for some reference material for the build, how about the real thing:
