I just realized I made a blunder... I said I hoped they would make the Gaz-69.. but what I meant to say was the Gaz-66 trucks Bronco already does a fine job with the Gaz-69!

Allow phonetic typing
It will be good if they fix the error, but such an approach to designing models, disappoints me. It would have been forgiven for 10-15 years ago but not now. Do not forget that Zvezda.Dragon released model is very long, so many mistakes and be forgiven, so now companies can no longer work.
I hope they fix things, the main thing that would make the right housing, different things can be altered, although very much that the model came out so good that the remake would have to be minimal.

Hi Olegas

Your link unfortunately doesn't work. We should be subscribed to the site to see it
Would you mind beeing more precise?
What are the kit flaws in your opinion?

Sorry. My mistake. Corect link:

I hope until the model is under construction, and the manufacturer will correct inaccuracies.

....that's all?...reading your comment I thought there were huge shape mistakes hard to correct...Your criticisms are maybe too harsh indeed
Well, those are really minor flaws in my humble opinion.
I've already told that about T-62 kit: if Trumpeter didn't have any interest in eastern subjects we'd have only eastern kits ...which, as all of us know, are often a nightmare. So, even if Trumpeter kits are not 100 % accurate yet, we should be grateful for their efforts.
Anyway, that's just an opinion, not an argument, so please don't get me wrong.

Cheers

It's just something that caught my eye, a more detailed review can be done only after the model on sale.
Remember how it was with a model T-62, initially all rubbing their hands gleefully, and then upon closer examination, revealed no great match with the prototype.
Again, if you do authenticity poster model T-62, more than half the parts should be changed or altered. By the way, and what do at the moment, some Russian firms.
We must understand that in the Soviet / Russian technique of the present understand only Russian modelers, Western modelers in this area dealt with only superficially and do not have enough experience, so they do not perceive that as a manufacturer of errors that bad and critical.
I believe that the Italians would be very pleased if released model the Italian model, with obvious errors? Also here that the Western model makers seem quite normal for Russian modellers, it seems ugly.

Walks like a duck, talks like a duck and acts like a duck......must be a duck.

I for one will be glad to see this out, having built the Dragon ones, this one will be a blessing.

As far as the exhaust goes....minor detail, and how do you know that they are planning a proper photoetch shroud to go over the exhaust pipe that is in place in the photos. That would be my guess as to why it isn't there.

Maybe you should wait until the kit is actually out and have an "educated" look at it, before trashing something you have only seen in a few photos.

Yes, of course. But for exemple when Trumpeter has decided to produce Blindo Centauro and Ariete C1 tank, Italian modellers, although they have noticed that those kits had some flaws, were...INCREDIBLY HAPPY. Before then they had to tackle an imperfect , expensive and quite rare resin kit just to obtain a decent Centauro replica and there were no kits which depicted the Ariete...

For a Topol, I wouldn't mind. I'd make space for that master piece.

Great, I buy and am finishing up a Zvezda BTR-70 and this come out now. Well, Hope it comes out soon. I'll pick it up along with their BTR-60. With some luck, we won't wait to long for a BTR-80 to sit along side my Zvezda BTR-80A. In the end, gonna have me a nice BTR convoy.

I have Zevda's version on my shelf, awaiting the planned Afghanistan Campaign. I think I will be using it as a reference to make Trumpeter's kit the Afghan version. Now, I just have to figure out what to do with the old one.

I have built 70 and 80 by Zvezda about 10 years ago and I am not sure if I should buy the same from another manufacturer, even thought, it's more detailed. My main interest is 1/43, mostly civil Russian and Soviet vehicles, in 1/35 It's only armored vehicles (one version for each) and some military trucks.

I reckon they are going to go through all of them at some point, 40, 152,50,60P/PB,70 and 80. Seems like it is heading that way, which is great news !
