Must be January or later (here in North America) as I just got all the notices for the Nov. and Dec. releases yesterday.
Looks good though...glad I got rid of my Dragon ones when I did!

I bet that the next one will be the BTR-80 (....finally)
Thanks Trumpeter!

Dragon also, which were what the Zvesda kits were....just reboxed Dragon kits, same as the Revell Germany one that was released.

I've been waiting for a quality BTR. Looks like we can count on Trumpeter. From what I can see, the detail is par with the newer Trumpeter releases. Along with the Buffalo and Neubaufahrzeug I'm more than happy. I'm freakin ecstatic! And, since I'm devoting myself to only doing models from the quality producers, this will fit right in.

Again, regular errors from the manufacturer. Manufacturer-bungler.

I've said this before.. and I'll keep saying it.. as long as there aren't any "glaring" errors that REALLY stand out when you look at it, then it's a good kit IMO.
Great news.. glad I never bought any of the Zvezda kits
Now, for the BTR-152 family... A nice GAZ-69 family... etc... etc...

I have bought some of the Zvezda kits and some Skif kits. They were a pain in the arse. Trumpeter, keep coming out with eastern armor and you have a dedicated group of buyers. And, please come out with some appropriate figures. Please, please do this.

I agree
I bought some eastern kit....most of them are awful and some others are not so bad....but I prefer working on a Trumpeter kit even if it wasn't 100% accurate

Sorry. My mistake. Corect link:
I hope until the model is under construction, and the manufacturer will correct inaccuracies.

I agree on this but like you say it's hard to know if this is still a WIP.
If it isn't however these are simple enough fixes. The rear section can be easily fixed with some plasticard and some PE mesh. These errors aside it will be a lot easier to work with than the Zvezda kits I'm sure.

I think it is incomplete, as test shots typically are. If you look closely you can see the groove in the engine doors where the shroud will fit (perhaps PE?). You can also see two holes in each door for lifting handles.

I agree. my guess is that some of the PE is missing. I am liking this release. Awesome.
