Out-FREAKING-standing Val! That is one very cool looking build. I would say it is the best work I've seen since Derek Brown's M1A1 back in '05. It tops your chally you did with the Barracuda matting hands down!

Sweet! Thanks Kerry!
Well some more pics for ya'all before I lay down the first coat of paint. I have fabricated few other stowage to fill er' back side up.
Here is the loaded L2A6M. Construction phase is done. This conversion is fully scratchbuilt and no AM parts added. You can see the water cooler, rucksack, duffels, MRE, chest cooler tarps etc. I did not cover this with the Barracuda netting (I have the full conversion with full Barracuda in braille with my Chally 2 TES 2008) as I want to show the true lines of this sexy tank.
Here you can see the stretcher attached to the rear turret slats.
Added here is the tow bar, all stowage are based on the actual load out of this tank in action.
For size.....
Its been tough but managed to pull through with this project. Whats left is a couple of straps and some more MRE then painting. Enjoy fellas! Braille rules!

Thanks Daniel!
Well its been a long build but I will close this build and call it done. Thanks to those who follow through this project.
This is a 1/72 Revell Leopard 2 A6M converted to the Canadian Leopard 2 A6M with full slats depicting the first batch of tanks to A'stan. The build is made from scratch including the stowage. Enjoy!

With my full conversion of Dragon Challenger 2 to Challenger 2 TES 2008. This was done a year ago as most of you remembered. This conversion was fully scratchbuilt all in 1/72.
Next might be the M1A2 TUSK II, if I had the time.

Impressive work, I'm fascinated about your perfect slat armor scratch build.
The Challenger is very nice.
I'm waiting for a Cromwell Models conversion to do it in 1:35 scale.

Beautiful! Excellent execution!
One minor complaint (if any): Compared to the antennas on the Challenger 2 the ones on the Leo look a bit too thick and overscale.

Thanks Thomas, Yes it should be thicker even at this scale. If you check references of the Canadian Leopard 2 the 3 whip attenas should be on the thicker side. I thinks most of the expert here would agree.

Superb, only just found this, but enjoyed seeing the progress. The Leo is my favourite (modern) tank, and to see such a well executed job in that insane scale is great. I'm glad you turned the commander,s hatch the right way up before painting though...
Cheers

Thanks Henk and very good observation of details. You are right at the correct TC hatch. It should be opened that side up as it pops up and swevil and swing instead of opening inside out. Also the attenas are thicker as mentioned on previous post. Though this scale is small most of the details made are approximate to scale base on scale conversion even to the stand alone distance of the slat armours. This was a fun build and enjoyed it.
