Hi Gary

T-62 fuel lines have more or less the same position which they have on T-55

Anyway here you are some references

good work so far, I am also building both 62 and 72 versions, had no real problems, and I find trump to be one of the better modelfirms around, value for money, and they give a "die hard" the bases for further improving the kit.
some scratch and copperwire here and there will make it a nice model,
about the wheels, yup they are loose, but I didn't have a problem with the tracks, trie a Alan kit if you wanne stress

looking forward to your build!

small Question for the experts (sorry for puttin this in your post;) )
are there model62's still in action in syria today, I think I saw a pair in a clip on LL, but I could be wrong, pictures weren't that sharp, and far away....

Pit, T-62 1972 are still employed (against the civilians )

(Pic taken in August 2011)

But I think that 1962 models are quite rare nowadays

I never thought of assembling the tracks around dry-fitted suspension. Wish I had posted this before you started them. A easy way to assure that they line up is too assemble two or three of them, then lay two pieces of balsa strip on each side of them. Snug it up and tape the two balsa strips to your bench. Voila, instant track jig.

Gary, I'll be following you progress like a bee on honney

might be a good idea, I have some left over glassfiber it's insulated with a flexible tubing, I use this for connectors and fine with for the tubing,
wonder what you will use

Hi Pit,

i would like to know more about the glassfiber that you speak of. im still trying to gather up what i need to reasonably represent the fuel lines. Jesse gave me a great tip that im gonna try and use but i dont have the proper size wire to make the rubber hose and clamps so ill need to make a trip to the hardware store. i do have the proper guage wire for the hard lines.

BINGO! found just the right size wire insulator. rememberd i had a clear see through calculator and there it was. so the calculator is no more R.I.P. but now what im i to do. that calculator WAS my math skills! now i can go forward with the fuel lines.

Wonderful work Gary. The fuel lines look great. But, no screw for the hose clamps? That just makes the rest of the work trash. Just kidding. With the amount of detail you put into your builds, I doubt anyone would notice.
