With my club discount I think it was right around $45. After tax and everything.

Nice. Back in May I paid $60 plus shipping.

I thought it was a bit high!

I've been a way for a couple of days due to work and people here are next to finished!
@ Paul i see you started that plastic voodoo stuff again... Very nice. Keep the photos coming so some of us can learn and maybe i can learn to do some magic one day myself.

@ John (Nito) nice start. How can you keep track of all these models you build on the same time? Waiting to see more....

@Jon that JT looks great! So much detail. Really nice....

Now that i finished my T 62 i started work on my Jgpanzer IV. So here is an update. It has fitting issues ans lots of sanding down is in order, but i think it will turn out ok. Certainly not a suitable kit for someone new to the hobby.

Hi John, I like that phrase. I didn´t have much choice I just put some cool music on and went for it (fun punk and serious crossover)
Well here´s todays efforts in 2 pictures

Turret glued and weld seams added
Running gear tacked on with PVA glue
Tracks on
Added some ammo racks to huge open space beneath the turret
The drive sprockets needed some serious sanding, otherwise
they´d be about 2mm to wide and don´t fit the tracks.

Keep up the good work everyone and as always thanks for the praise

Looks good John!

I just finished my interior on the Emil. Fun.

But it is a warm up on the TD's interior for this Campaign.

Thanks Jeff !
While doing the interior, did you leave the equipment & ammo out ?
Do you build everything and then paint everything ?

I always have these doubts while doing interiors...

I was wondering how you did it.

Thanks for the illustration John. Oh yeah, it's ALL in there, nothing left out. I'll go ahead and shoot the whole thing one color, then go back with a micro-brush and paint them individually what the directions says. I did leave the shells/ammo out and paint them separate, then install them later.

The leFH18/40/2 (sf) auf G.W. Pzkw. III/IV I have for the TD Campaign has a massive interior in the fighting area so this was just a warm-up!

Nice work by everyone some really cool projects being built
I'm having all sorts of paint problem with my Jagdpanzer 1st the dunkelgelb didn't spray on evenly and then the new brush I used on the road wheels made a mess
In the mean time I was working on the mesh side armor and the instruction say to use the pattern provided as a 1to 1 scale so I did. Then I remembered that the color Cyberhobby directions are shrunk down Dragon ones, so I hope my pieces are not to short

Hi Sal,
that´s a real bummer with the paint job, what paints are they
and what´s the new brush (real hair or synthetic)? You should be o.k. with the side skirts, I did the PzIV Beobachtungs Panzer from the orange
range and the template was kept to the original dragon size.

I´ve discovered the turret floor today for my hole of a kit, which is only mentioned as part C11 which points at something else which I took for another mistake
The Ammo racks are now history:

Weekend update: Was out of commission yesterday and this morning, so I didn't get as much done as I'd hoped. Plus I had to mow the backyard as it was starting to get that weird "Apocalypse Now" look to it.

Behold! I give you step one of the Dragon instructions! In other words, idlers, bogies, road wheels and drive sprockets...

I use an old Velveeta cheese box as a stand for my wheels. And test spraying from the airbrush as you can see from the side of the box. I use a draftsman's template to do the wheels, and I know exactly what diameter works for the Dragon Pz III chassis wheels, so I'm not concerned with getting the Panzer Aces Dark Rubber on the wheel rims, as they'll be painted through the template down the road.

First Question --Is it too late to join in?

Second Question -- Since MRLS is allowable as a subject, does that mean we can also choose Stalin's Organ or one of the MRLS predecessors (Lance, Lacrosse, Honest John, Pershing, or Corporal) as the subject of this campaing's build?

It seems disasters are the order of the campaign. This happened to me 15 mins ago. I primered the kit went to make my self a coffee and returning back i saw this. Where the plastic is visible through the primer is melted. I washed it and tried to sand it but proved useless... Sorry guys i don't think i will be able to finish this campaign.

Acetone ? alcohol ? turpentine ?

Wow - when the XXX hits the fan!
Now: actone, old toothbrush, lots of kitchen tissue, get on the outside, and invest 45 minutes. That is all it takes! That kit can be saved! Just a little efford!
This isn't a bad kit, it's just a bit oily. A problem of which you won't have to think of any more after your acetone clean-up
You can do it!

I thought acetone are plastic.

When i cleaned the spilled CA on my mesh armor for the PZIVJ, it took off the dried acetone for the most part and didn't affect the plastic mesh, but the plastic parts attached to it seemed to be affected a little bit.
Am i incorrect?

John what the heck happened? Did you clean the kit before you primed it? Almost looks like there was some sort of oily residue on the kit.

If you want a safe way to clean the stuff of the model, just use good old DOT 3 break fluid. Let is soak overnight and it break all the paint stuff off the model. Just clean everything up it water and will not harm the plastic at all.
